1. The Great South

Agadir, as our base, offers roads into any direction. Southbound we will head towards Tiznit, famous for all kind of Silver products. Left to Tafraout, or right to Aglou and the coast. And there is also still the raod along the Anti-Atlas to Mirleft and Guelmim.
Sidi Ifni at the coast and the charming hills of the Aït Baâmrane region are on our track, just before entering the Sahara environment.
Entering this calm and wide part of Morocco will give you an impression, how Nomads still today follow their century old traditions.

2. Mountains and Sahara

Our journey goes eastbound, along the Atlas Mountain foothills, following the Oued Sous and Asif Tifnout rivers.
Known as the Moroccan green-house, Taroudant is the first major city we will reach. Heading on through Arganeries we will reach Taliouine, famous for the production of the Moroccan Safran. Taznakht will be worth to see, especially the making of the traditional Berber carpets.
Reaching the Hollywood of Morocco region, we need to stop in Ait Benhaddou, where Gladiator, James Bond and other famous movies were partly filmed. Ouarzazate is home of the studios, worth a few hours to stroll through Egyptian and even East Asian sceneries.
You have the choice here, turning right and visiting Zagora and M'hamid to visit the Dunes of the Sahara, or going straight to Kalaat M'gouna, just a few miles further, where the finest Rose Water with the locally grown Roses is produced.
If you skipped the right turn in Ouarzazate, you have your last chance in Tinghir to pay Merzouga and the Sahara a visit.
From Tinghir we head north towards the Atlas through stunning gorges.
There are also plenty of places north of the Atlas which invite for a stay, especially Marrakech. The 250 km from Marrakech to Agadir are usually a smooth journey, motorway all the way.

3. Coastal Tour

The Atlantic coast offers plenty of different landscapes, with Agadir just at the edge of the Atlas Mountains, Taghazout with its famous surfing environment, Essaouira with a very own historic background and home of the Gnaoua Festivals, Safi, El Jadida
Casablanca has a lot to discover (no, not Rick's Cafe in the harbour) but as the industrial Capital of our country. Further along the coast we will hit Rabat, the national Capital, as well as Mohammedia, Kenitra and Tangier.
Each of these towns has its own charm, own style and own history. The coast shows sandy beaches, rock and rough sections, smooth and shallow parts. Be aware that the tide and some currents can be at times dangerous for non-trained swimmers.

4. The Majestic Atlas

Along the stunning mountains of the Atlas range, we will proceed eastbound. Taroudant, Taznaght, Ait Benhaddou and Ouarzazate are on our track.
Oasis and Palmeries are dominating the scenery, ein little break at Kelaa M'Gouna (Rose Valley) and we will continue to the famous Gorges of the Atlas Mountains.
Depending on your itinerary a visit of Ifrane (ski paradise) is possible. Next will be the stunning Cascades of Ourika or a visit to Oukaimeden.
Marrakech is waiting with its reknown attractions to be discovered. Returning to Agadir will be on an impressive motorway straight through the Atlas again.
